Summer Course UA-UNF (8-31 Mayo, 2018)

 

 

The School of Economics and Business Sciences organizes, together with the University of North Florida (U.S.), a summer course program which allows students, in addition to expanding their knowledge and receiving a participation certificate, to enjoy an international environment with the American students who will share classroom with them during this three-week program.

 

It includes two courses of 45 hours of duration each, which will be held during the month of May and are included in the program COGGIN IN SPAIN of the Coggin College of Business of the University of North Florida, with which the Faculty of Economics has kept a narrow collaboration for more than 15 years.

 

 

Courses offered during summer 2018:

 

LEADERSHIP AND COMPETITIVENESS IN THE 21ST CENTURY (8-24 May 2018)

The course will be taught by experts from the Department of Organisation of our Faculty: Vicente Sabater, Bartolomé Marco, Susana De Juana, Diego Quer and Patrocinio Zaragoza,  who will tackle the contents shown in the following syllabus with a duration of 45 hours.

 

REGISTRATION (deadline May 4, 2018)

Registration is free for UA students. A good level of English is required to participate, since all the lectures will be given in this language. Students interested must register by sending an email to international.feb@ua.es before May 4, 2018.

TIMETABLE AND ROOMS

Lectures will be held in Vicens Vives Room (Faculty of Economics Building), except for Thursday 24, in GB/INF1 Room (Germán Bernácer Building) with this schedule:

  • first week (8-10 May): Tuesday to Thursday, from 9 to 14h
  • second week (14-17 May): Monday 14 from 9 to 14h; Tuesday 15 to Thursday 17, from 15:30 to 18:30h
  • third week (21 – 24 May): Monday to Thursday, from 15 to 19h

 

On Monday 7 May, American students will have a welcome session and campus guided tour .

INNOVATION, IMMIGRATION AND SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP (15-31 May 2018)

The course will be taught by experts from the Departments of Sociology I and II of our Faculty: Malena FabregatCecilia SorianoEnric Bas and  Mario Guilló,  who will tackle the contents shown in the following syllabus with a duration of 45 hours.

Lectures will be held with the following schedule and rooms:

  • first week (15-17 May): Tuesday to Thursday from 9 to 14h (Tuesday 15 and Thursday 17: GB/INF5// Wednesday 16: GB/INF2)
  • second week (21-24 May): Monday to Thursday from 9 to 12:45h (Monday 21: P3/0-INF1 // Tuesday 22 and Thursday 24: GB/INF1 // Wednesday 23: GB/INF5)
  • third week (28-31 May): Monday to Thursday from 9 to 12:45h (GB/INF1)
